Usually for payment, I would provide 2 bank accounts (Maybank and CIMB) for you to transfer the payment.
Whenever you’re transferring the payment via Interbank GIRO (IBG). Please, with a cherry on top, make sure that if you chose to transfer to Maybank, don’t enter my CIMB account number in the account number section and vice versa.
If this mix up happens, the transaction will still go thru and your money will be deducted from your account. I will not receive the payment and you will be few ringgit poorer..
As much as I sympathize with this situation, there’s nothing I can do about it.
If you select “Maybank” at the drop-down list, please enter my Maybank account number. and if you select “CIMB” at the drop-down list, please enter my CIMB account number.
Do double check whenever you’re transffering the payment via IBG k..
